Quality Poodles for Quality Families

 Hometown Poodles is located in Rural Central Kansas. 

Dogs have always been a part of our family’s life. We have had several different breeds over the years and all of them have brought us joy. After my daughter, at age 3 (she's now 20), was diagnosed with severe allergies, we were forced to find a new home for our German Shepherd. That left an empty spot in our lives. A difficult pregnancy and a premature baby put our search on hold for a while. 

When things settled down, we resumed our search. We were drawn again and again to the Standard Poodle. Their size was perfect. Big enough to handle whatever the kids might throw at them, but not too big to be in the house all the time. Poodles don’t shed, our biggest problem was solved—NO ALLERGIES! Their intelligence and trainability were also exciting for us. The Standard Poodle is one of the most versatile breeds in existence.

After speaking with many breeders and owners of Standard Poodles we finally found a dog to bring into our home and we haven’t been disappointed! Of course—one wasn’t enough and now there are several!   ​They have proven themselves again and again to be the perfect family pets. We would love to help your family find the companion and friend that we have found with our dogs!

2019 brought the addition of Miniature Poodles!

Our Poodles are members of our family!  They are interacted with daily from the moment of birth. This results in very well socialized puppies that adjust to their new homes quickly and confidently.
